Steve has been a headhunter since 1996. He got his start in the technology industry placing technical candidates who built and implemented business applications. Over time he worked on projects that involved building sales teams and professional services groups for systems integrators. In 2003, Steve joined a national retail mortgage banker. As one of the founding members of Hammerhouse, Steve has positively impacted the production and careers for his clients and the candidates he has represented. Steve has well established relationships with street level producers and senior executives in the financial services industry nationally. He has contributed numerous byline articles for industry magazines and also been actively involved in developing the infrastructure and core strategy for Hammerhouse with his partners. Steve believes in Objective Consultation and pure Model-Matching for the candidates and clients he works with. Steve and his wife of 11 years, Tiffany, live with their two daughters in San Clemente, CA. Outside of business, Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as an active outdoor lifestyle of surfing, snow skiing and mountain biking.
