While in line at a Starbucks recently, I noticed that the patrons looked listless.  Even, though every seat was full and every person was busy with a laptop, cell phone or iPad, there was an overwhelming lack of enthusiasm. Maybe the coffee hadn’t kicked in for them yet, or maybe they were just stuck in the ‘mud.’

We have all felt stuck in the mud — overwhelmed, confused, tired or bored with what we are doing. Sometimes we even bring a few people down to wallow with us.
